Ok dirty minds! I know what you are thinking.. All you buggers who is planning to read my full post just cos the title caught your attenion, stop getting so excited! This post is just another "venting out" tag. This post describes my extensive research on human behaviour when it comes to their delicate relationship between the finger and the horn on their bikes, scooties, cars, trucks and not to forget buses! Yes, my good ppl.. My study on the "Horn-o-logy".

When you start your bike in the morning, all you want to do is go to office/school/clg or wherever your destination is. Reaching the given place safely and in one piece cos of these roads and traffic is difficult, I do admit that. But going in peace is not at all possible. The very first "start the music" sound will be the HUGE blare of a bus horn. These bus drivers think they have the license to use the horn like ambulance drivers. The mere second any vehicle comes in front of them, they have to use that horn!! They just have to.. They wont even stop when you are out of their way. Its like them giving out a warning to all - "ey you idiots on the road! Drive in front of me and I will unleash this power of mine and thou shall go deaf. So mind it, I say!" Then we have these other impatient crowd who dont mind making that horn button cry.. Ok, I understand that you would like to go to your office in time! BUT DONT YOU GET IT THAT THE SIGNAL IS RED FOR YOU? According to them, they think that all these signals have feelings in them. So if they keep blaring the horn, the red signal will get irritated and will give way for green. Someone needs to tell them that listen, they are objects. Non living. Remember 1st std lessons. Non Living objects dont have feelings in them. So Stop it! And then, we have these "Hey,I am so cool-himesh reshammiya fans by default" gang. These buggers - They plug in their Fm/walkman phones and the world transforms for them. They dont use horn to give out a warning or to irrtate the red signal like the former kinds. They use the horn to feel good about themselves. They use the horn to be another himesh reshamiya in making. So this is how it works for them - They listen to a song and they use the only musical instrument available to them - Horn. The song goes - Aashiq banayaaaaa, The horn goes - pee pee, song - Aashiq banayaaaa, horn - pee pee, song - Aashiq banayaaaa aapneeee horn - peeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (Pls note that the last notes is simultenously done at same time) You may not identify this kind of crowd so easily. They are a rare kind. (And I am so thankful for that!) But they do exist. Next time note it carefully when someone is blaring away to glory and is head banging slight a to the plugged in earphone in his ears. We also have another kind among us. But I really dont get angry on them so easily. These are the "I am sorry but I am learning driving now oly" kinds. If you come into a proximity of even 5 feet within them, they will get nervous and will start blaring! Some even shout out - Hey hey hey.. pathu pathu pathu.. careful careful careful! and you will be like what? who? why? dinosaur? earthquake? rakhi sawant?.....huh!oh! ok chill! Sometimes it get so worse that, I would feel like ripping out the wires from their vehicles and shoving it down to their throats... Now now now, pls dont think in a wrong way about me. I am not really such a violent person but what to do! Gandhigiri doesnt really work for this kind of situation!! :(

PS : This is my second post on driving! or the mere state of traffic on the road.. I realised it after typing away for a good deal of half hour. SO no I am not going to delete it. thou shall read it and comment too!!

PPS : It feels good to be back on this space :) I do hope some "teeny-weeny" percent of readers will still be interested to spare a comment or two. Not really promising to be the super regular kinds but wont dissapear again so easily either. Cheers!!

Na, my blog post is not about the song and how true it is (when it comes to my life!), in fact it’s quite the opposite! I didn’t update it as my status message on the social networking sites either. Unlike many people who had kept the first few lines as their status messages! In fact I downloaded the song and listened to it after seeing those messages only. (Don’t laugh at my ignorance! It happens!) When I listened to the song completely, the tune caught me. I was humming the song for few days but it never occurred to me to update it as my message! Yes, I do agree with the fact that couple of sentences in the song might be true in everyone’s life. Heck, my school bag used to be so heavy that it was used as weapon to hurl it at class guys who would tease me unnecessarily! I used to change the bleddy school bags regularly since they would tore apart regularly since they won’t be able to bear the weight of all the books. But apart from that, I am happy to say that other sentences were not so true. I was quite an average student at school. One who would happily do well and while away time at art classes, top in English, fail in maths (Yes! Students who fail in maths are considered as average, so don’t give such looks!) And pass in other subjects. I used to happily go play every evening and even morning during holidays (only time when I got up early in the morning!) Obviously it doesn’t mean that my parents didn’t pay attention to me at all. I scored quite decently during 10^th boards and pretty well during 12^th boards! I was given lot of freedom to take as much as co curricular activities I wanted to – Arts, Basket Ball, Martial arts, Music! All the credit goes to my parents only. But on the other hand, I sure would like to get a chance to grow up again. There are many things that I would like to change. My school life had never been a memorable one! Apart from few really good and long lasting friends and couple of teachers. I am a complete different person today. Now I wish that I should have been like this during my schooling period. Much more outspoken, not as boring as I was that time, not so dumb as I was at that time, lil bit more crazy as I am right now (Again let me clear the fact that being dumb and being crazy are 2 different characteristics!! :D) and happily enjoy all the moments! Well, I guess it was just a phase of life which is now over and there is absolutely no point in grumbling over it again. Yeah, yeah, I can see some of you out there raising an eyebrow and thinking then why the heck I took pain to write such a big post!! C’mon guys! It’s been ages since I updated my blog. I needed some topic right?! :P

Our Third Empire!

Off late Google [read Third Empire] is playing a very vital role in decision making session of my family members. For example, last week all of us, including my Gundu mama and Yo Uncle (If you are wondering who are they, then please read this. And ya, please don’t forget to comment! :D) were watching TV. Nothing great was on TV so I simply kept SS Music. Some song came up (unfortunately I don’t remember which one!) and we were all listening to it. Suddenly my dad made a statement!

Dad : Hmmm.. It’s been really long since I listened to Hariharan song. He has sung this song really well.

My mom gave him such a horrified look as if he told her that an alien from Pluto came to earth and gobbled up Hariharan as a revenge for removing its name from Planets list.

Mom : Oh please! Don’t insult Hariharan by telling that he sang this song and all (She is a major Hariharan fan)

Dad : Oh is it?! Then tell me who sang it?! It is Hariharan.

Mom : No, its not!

Dad : Ok then tell me who is it!

Mom : Wait I will tell you! I don’t remember this guy name now. He is that lanky looking guy!

Gundu mama : Its that guy! Shankar Mahadevan!

“Yo” Uncle : Eh Gundu! Its not Shankar Mahadevan!

Gundu Mama : Then who else!

Mom : Ayio.. I can’t remember his name.

She turned to me and asked me to help! Since I had no clue, I just rattled off my in depth knowledge on Tamil Industry singers.

Me : Karthik?

Mom : No!

Me : Unnikrishnan?!

Mom : No No!!

Me : SPB?!

Mom (Also a great fan of SPB) gave me such a threatening look as if she is going to push me down from the LIC building!

Me : Eh.. sorry.. came out in a flow! Naresh Iyer?!

Mom : No!!!

Me : Douglas Kennedy?!

Mom : Eh.. who is that?!

Me : He is a writer! I was just testing if you are really listening to me or not!

Mom : Hmph.. Ya! Krish! That’s it! Krish is the singer!

Dad and Gundu mama : NO!

Yo uncle looked at me – Uh huh! Fight is boring! Come we will go check out Third empire.

Thus we ended up in the front of comp and it turned out that some Belly Raj has sung the song. So the fight came to an end with everyone getting disappointed and myself and Yo uncle having a nice laugh!

Next day some other issue came up. This time it was the population of Chennai.

Dad : Would be around 3 to 4 crores.

Gundu mama : Cha cha.. Would be in lakhs!

Dad (with again a horrified look) Are you mad?! Ever visited T nagar during Weekends?! You cant even come out alive from that place, esp if it’s a festive season! And you are saying that Chennai population would be in Lakhs!?

Mom : 8 crores!

Dad and Gundu mama looked at each other and started laughing!

Yo uncle, who was happily sitting on sofa with a book turned to me and said: Comp is on! Go consult the third empire!

I googled and found out that its 4.34 Million. The reactions?! Don’t even ask about it!!!

The story behind my "Yo" Uncle's sheepish smiles!

Recently two of my uncles have come down to spend some time with us. I am pretty fond of both of them. One of them is lovingly known as Gundu mama (Gundu means fat in Tamil!) Everyone calls him like that only. In fact majority of our common friends don’t know his real name at all. And the second one has landed straight down from Dubai. Nowadays he is trying to differentiate between Kozhambu (kudumbu in his words) and Sambhar and also between podi (chilli gunpowder) and maavu (batter used for making Idly and Dosai). Thus, you can see his expert knowledge in Tamil. But he is one super cool person! So let’s call him the “Yo” uncle! (I do hope they don’t read this post in near future!)

Yesterday scene is something which is worth mentioning here. My mom generally makes the batter at home itself (In other words, Maavu archify with the help of the grinder). We don’t buy it from outside. She always does that in the evening but then, she remembered that she had to go to market to pick up few stuff!

My mom : Ok I have to go to market.

Yo uncle : (Since he knew that she had to carry out the maavu archifying process too so he offered to help!) Oh ok akka, you carry on. I will put the podi in the grinder and finish that work.

[Sensing that some hilarious moments are going to follow, yours sincerely and Gundu mama positioned ourselves on the sofa so that we can see the entire scene!]

My mom : ?!?!?! why do you need to put podi in the grinder??!?!

Yo uncle: Why?! Are you planning to buy podi from outside to make the dosai!?!

My mom : AYIO! Podi is different. We use Maavu to make dosai’s!

Yo uncle: “55 watt bulb sheepish smile” (In order to cover up the situation) Ok then I will make Kudumbu!

Me : Is it a goan dish?! (He is from goa!)

Yo uncle: ?!?! No your mom only made it yesterday!

My mom : No I didn’t! I don’t even know how to make such a dish!

Yo uncle: But you made it yesterday for dinner!

My mom : What did I make for yesterday dinner?!

My dad : Same old Sambhar! What else!!!

Laughter erupts which gets silenced by Mother dear’s chilly stare directed to dad!

My mom to Yo uncle: That was Sambhar!!!!

Yo uncle: “75 watt bulb sheepish smile”

Gundu Mama: What’s the connection between Kudumbu and Sambhar?! I mean, how can one get confused with 2 different words!?!

Yo uncle : Actually I thought Sāmbhar was the one which you made for today’s lunch!

My mom : Now what did I make for lunch?!

My dad : You showed some mercy and made Kozhambu for a change!

Another laughing session which was again silenced by Mother dear’s threatening advances, following which my dad disappeared from the scene!

Mom : That’s Kozhambu !! Not Kudumbu!!

Yo uncle : “100 watt bulb sheepish smile!”

This announcement has been pending for a very long time! Parzi has awarded me Freakin Fabulous award.

Though I feel that I am not eligible to receive this award (as you can see from the amount of cobwebs my blog has gathered from past few weeks!) Please do visit her blog ! She is a total sweetheart with a nice blog!

Her Beautiful Life

This is all I was able to come up with for the Moonlight contest @ WL. I had to write something related to the following pic. So here you go :)

She saw the clock strike eleven and got up immediately from her bed! Then she started searching for her slippers in the darkness, trying not to make even a slightest sound. She can’t afford to let her mom know that she was trying to sneak out of the house. Tip toeing to the front door, she opened it quietly and crept outside. The darkness devoured her, making her quite similar to her shadow. At first, she took cautious tiny steps like an excited kid who is just learning to walk. Once she was far away from her home, she broke into one run. She can hear the big waves at the sea nearby, roaring away. She smiled to herself and headed in the direction of the beach. One can sense the excitement and happiness she is feeling at that moment, when she was heading towards her favorite place. Suddenly she stopped! She was speechless. The sight of the beautiful full moon caught her by surprise. Why surprise?! Because at that moment, she realized that her life is also so beautiful, just like that sight. The sight which showed the full moon playing hide and seek with the dark clouds! The clouds didn’t spoil the splendor of the moon in any way at all. Instead it created a mysterious aura around the moon. This made the moon look even more magnificent! She stood there silently, savouring the peace she felt, drinking in the beauty of the sky.

Suddenly, someone gave her a warm hug from behind. Someone stood right behind her, whispering in her ears, “Hey beautiful”. This time she was not caught by surprise! Instead she turned and smiled at him. The same smile, which made him fall in love with her and which made him propose her. The same smile, which she gave him when she said “Yes”!

As she rested her head on his shoulders, she thought, “Yes, Life is very beautiful indeed”

Both of them started walking on the pavement. It was 10 in the night and the road was quiet. Neither of them spoke anything but the silence was not suffocating either. They enjoyed the silence and savoured each passing second, spent in each other’s company.

It was cloudy, but they enjoyed the breeze. Suddenly the weather changed its mind and rain started pouring! She started running and took the shelter under the big banyan tree nearby. He started laughing and stood right there, enjoying the feeling of the raindrops on his face. She gave her warm smile again. He looked at her and suddenly saw something in her eyes. What was it? The same look of love, which he had in his eyes. For her!!

Both of them looked at each other, transfixed on the spot. He took a step towards her. She went a step back. He smiled and went near her. Slowly! Suddenly, she turned away, smiling to herself. He smiled and touched her tender hand. She shivered. Not because of the cold rain, but because of his warm and loving touch. Then she slowly faced him.

Yes, he was right!

He can see the love in her eyes. Love for him!

He can see the desire in her eyes. The same desire, which he had!

He can see the longing in her eyes. It didn’t hint any lust, but mere passion!

“OK, CUT”, the director shouted, “Good Shot, both of you! I can almost feel the chemistry”

The hero and the heroine smiled at the director and went to their respective chairs, while the spot boys cleaned up the so called “rain” on the set!

Disclaimer : LONG post and it’s all about books. So pardon me if you find this post very boring !!
Of late I am really very jobless. Another sign which reminds you that college life has come to an end. So am having ample time to nag all the people around me to the extent that they go mad and wonder why the hell my college got over..! Ever since college started I didn’t get the pleasure of reading any novels back to back, which I used to do when I was in school. My mom used to get so much irritated with that habit of mine that one day she threw all my books up at the loft. But she forgot that I used to have one big source called library at school. Fortunately mine was a good one. Being one of the bright students of the readers club at my school I was given 2 issue cards, which enabled the privileged to issue 4 books at the same time. So my happy soul used to issue 4 hardy boys collection and used to hide it between the big computer “C+” book. I never read that C+ book. Hate that subject. I still wonder how I passed in computer science. I still detest it. But that bloody subject still haunts me, cos now my sister is learning it at school and she comes to me with all scary doubts. Anyway this post is about the novels which I have finished in the past one week. So bookworms are welcome while the souls who use novels as pillow can close the window now itself.

I have been trying out new authors. I have not heard about some of them at all. But since I have lots like that right now so thought that why not give them a shot !!

My first one was THE BLUE HOUR by T.Jefferson Parker
Murder mystery. 2 detectives nab down a psychopathic serial killer, who abducts beautiful young women from the malls and kills them in one horrifying way.

Nice plot. The author wanted to develop a very different type of serial killings which he tried to do in this book. The book has couple of kickass one liners, which prompted me to use them while I was chatting with one of my friends. She got so surprised that she logged out abruptly without even telling me bye. I guess I scared her off :D

At certain points, the author has given lots of technical details which will confuse you at times unless and until you are medical students. Such details lead to cooking up of biryani in the end, which is absolutely tasteless. You have to go back by few pages and read again to see what you have missed. But the climax was built nicely. You can almost feel the suspense.

Bottomline : “OK” book, which you can read when you are really jobless like me.

ABSOLUTE RAGE by Robert. K. Tanenbaum
A lawyer and detective (husband and wife duo) investigates their neighbor’s murder mystery and in the midst fights hard to protect their own family from the killers.

Again nice plot. I loved the detective character, Marlene. Samma character. Even otherwise all the other characters sketched out in a nice way. All were given equal importance. Entire story was gripping.
Lots of useless details were given. They were of no use at all at times. Got bored when such huge paragraphs in the name of conversations came up.

Bottomline : “Good” one. It won’t bore you.

THE JOB by Douglas Kennedy
One smart salesman finds himself a victim of downsizing and then grabs upon a job offered by one of his friends. Unfortunately that job definition includes murders, fraud, embezzlement and lots of trouble !!! How he comes out of all the trouble is the story.

Now this guy can write !! If I remember this is the only book which I was not able to keep down at all, after Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code. I just wanted to finish it in one go. The book is very fast paced and you enjoy the pace also. The Times has described it as “A furiously paced, compulsive thriller” which is really true.

His main character talks a lot !! Like my 4 year old cousin. At times you would like to shout out ”Will you stop thinking for a while and shut up?” But in the end, you will find yourself sympathizing with it when his wife leaves him.

Bottomline : “Brilliant” one. In fact I am going to try other books by this author.

WISH YOU WELL by David Balcaddi
2 kids, aged 12 and 7 meets with one accident which marks their dad under dead and mother under paralyzed and in coma. So they go off to Virginia mountains to their great grandmother where they have to get up at 5 in the morning to help her out with all the chores. But the new town’s greed and justice brings the family in one difficult position. How they protect each other and how they stand up for the other is the story.

This author is usually known for his suspense novels and this novel is his first attempt at a different beat. And I must say that it’s beautifully written. You will sail along with the flow of the story. Its written to the point. No useless dialogues. The characters and their feelings is sketched out beautifully

Bottomline : I loved it !! Finished the 368 pages in 7 hours flat !!

HORNET’S NEST by Patricia Cornwell
Murder mystery again but never mind!! I was never able to go past 4 chapters. It’s beats even history books by making you feel sleepy.

Presently I am reading BEYOND YESTERDAY by Robert Wheeler. Kind of OK book but let me first finish it !!

Emotions that came out of different kinds of individuals when they came to know that the gate no has been shifted from 224 to 216. After some time, the temperature intensified to alarming rate when they discovered that the gate no has been shifted again from 216 to 116. Pleasant words were exchanged (sorry not exchanged, since it was only one way communication) between the airport authorities and the passengers. The lowes overflowed so much that authorities ears started bleeding.

After finally settling inside, we patiently waited for the flight to take off.
15 mins … half hour.. 45 mins… one hour… 1hour and 15 mins… 1 and half hour.. 1hour and 45 mins and finally after 2 hours the pilot announced that they were ready to take off.

Passing the time was not a big deal for me. 3 chinki guys were sitting next to me. They looked pretty professionals with all suits and ties dotted on. Would be in their early thirties. One was making planes out of the napkins provided to him, another was sticking the feedback forms over the first one’s head and the last one was trying to capture the art with his mobile camera. After one point they became so noisy that the airhostess came to them and made them do “finger on your lips”. Only after they got calls from their head office, they hushed down.

Finally the plane took off and we were given menu cards and were asked to pick our choices. Totally there were 3 dishes and 2 of them were non veg. Yours sincerely, being one pure vegetarian asked for the only vegetarian dish – Avial curry. While I was waiting for my turn to come, one steward came and placed a plate in front of me. I gave him one quizzical look and asked him for avail curry. He told its Shavial. I thought he pronounced Avial as shavial and tried to correct him.

No, I want the avail curry (Showing him the menu card)
Oh !! You didn’t ask for Shavial?
(Almost in tears!!) NO!!!
Oh!! Sorry mam!!!

I still don’t know what he meant by shavial.. ! Finally my Avial curry came and I happily scooped it in a spoon and placed it in my mouth. The minute I placed in my mouth, the colour of my face changed from turquoise blue to peacock green!! With the steward watching my reactions intently, I quietly kept the spoon down and gulped down water. In the end, I was very much contented with the bland coffee, dry bun and not so fresh fruits !!

The final blow came when the plane started shaking violently on air. Announcement was made by the pilot requesting us to put up our seat belts. After one point of time, one was able to hear “allaaaaaah” on my left side, “sai ram, sai ram, sai ram” chants on my right side and “oh lord!! jesus save us” at the back. Even the chinki guys were murmuring something. Though I tried to decipher what they were chatting but I was not able to understand. Amidst all these confusion, one fat guy was snoring away to glory. He got up only when his wife smacked his head!! First came a big roaring yawn and then only he understood the seriousness. Ultimate comedy was when the pilot warned us to gear up for a belly landing. The volume of the chants became louder and occasionally someone played along in the orchestra with sounds of burping and puking. We did have a rough landing. People even also got small bumps on head. Which looked like the bumps Tom cat gets in the Tom and Jerry cartoon series. People were walking like drunks when they were getting down from the plane. It was a complete circus!!

Thus an eventful day came to an end. The funny part was that I was so busy in observing others antics, that I forgot the seriousness of the situation at that time. The Funniest part was when one air hostess was busy watching me observing others and forgot her job and when she mentioned that when we were getting down. My reaction?!

Scenario : Random conversation ranging from few department’s sense to NCC talks to council talks to cousin’s talks to friend’s talks to latest news on IPL Over paratha panner, Manchurian rice, Sambhar rice, idli , fried rice channa and one lime tea !!

V : hmmm.. eppa enna panalam? Enga polam? (For those souls who don understand Tamil, its now what do we do? Where should we go?)

N : Anyplace is fine “Yawn”

“Excuse boss you have a msg!” A checks her mobile

L : Hey will go for ayan huh?

M : Yeah! “with a big 100 watt bulb smile on her face” (she is a big fan of surya!!) But I have to withdraw money.

V and N : Inward “Groan”

“Excuse boss you have a msg!” A checks her mobile

Me : “Yawn” Guys dabbu ledhu.. ! Didn’t know that you will plan to go out. We will go some other day

“Excuse boss you have a msg!” A checks her mobile

L : Ya.. even I am bankrupt.. What about Beach?

Me : I don’t have any prob!!!! (I am a big fan of nature you see :P)

N : It will be too hot!

“Excuse boss you have a msg!” A checks her mobile

V : Ya!

M : “Yawn”

Me notice a big smile on A's face!

Me asks her : What?

A: No more current affairs paper in our life!!! “With another BIG grin”

M: Yaaaa!!!! Then she gives another 100 watt bulb smile and claps her hands and starts jumping up and down!

V, L and N watch M do all this circus tactics for 2 mins and burst out laughing.

M sees them laughing and laughs along!!

Me and A look at each other and shake our heads! A gets another msg and again she checks her mobile. After 2 mins again V repeats the first dialogue, Hey where shall we go?

Me and N : “Yawn”

N : You know what? Let us all go home and sleep!!! I am sleeeeepy !!

Me : Ya ppl! Even I am sleepy. Myself and N started studying at 12 only yesterday night and I slept at 3.

“Excuse boss you have a msg!” A checks her mobile

N : I slept at 5. 30. We will go out some other day.

M : Ok ok ok!!

Conversation ends!

Bottomline : The conversation may be a waste of time but still I will miss it!! College life is coming to an end and there will be no more V’s comments on dress sense of few departments, N’s attitude and sarcasm loaded replies, L’s endless bitching about “You know who” and A’s endless talks on NCC and M’s circus tactics.. !

Yes Anusha I will miss your mokkai also... And I will miss all my other classmates also!! But I don’t want to get all emotional and nostalgic and write one big post about it...! Though these three years in this college were utter waste but I gained lottsa experience in many things (I don’t want to talk about it here cos my dad will bash me!!) (Includes good things also so pls dont get upset dad :P) and got lots of good friends and am happy for that :)

Finally done with Jhankar !! Our inter-collegiate and inter departmental culturals! And I proudly announce that we came second!!! Overall!!! :) :) The experience was hilarious, funny, lovely and all other feel good words in the dictionary. My class (including myself) usually is not bothered about the culturals at all. But this time people realized that its gonna be our last Jhankar , so everyone bucked up and rocked the college. Events in which we worked hard got screwed up onstage, while events which were hopeless, actually rocked the stage and bagged away prizes :P :P One of my backdrops (Not entirely mine, lots of ppl helped me) fetched pretty good marks and helped Rock mime team win ( Anusha actually head banged on the stage).

The backdrop was supposed to be scary like the skeleton in Iron maiden ( Or whatever it is!! ) but my friend Nandhini told me that it resembled one of the Ninja Turtles :P ( Sorry Mr.Skeleton, No offense meant!! ) So the outcome was happy moments and lovely memories! :)

My friend Lancelot awarded me "Award for Cuteness - Cute is innocence". Thank you very much!!! :) :)

Damn it!

Of all the days, why did my bike get punctured today only?

Of all the days, why should I have the most important meeting today !

How can I get so involved in work even today ?! I didn’t notice the time at all. I shouldn’t have had come to office only. But what can I do?! I can’t avoid it also. I don’t event know when I will go to office next.

He looked at his watch and got alarmed. He asked the auto driver to fly.

I hope she don’t kill me. Gone case!!

There, she also kept checking the time.

Sigh! Why did he go to office today too!

She looked at his father who was trying his no for past 15 mins, which was not reachable. She let her eyes stray away and looked around. She looked at the officer in charge who was growling at her. She, hurriedly looked away to avoid his deadly stares, which reminded her that they were running late. Her sight fell on the bag in her sister’s hand. She was struggling to hold it.

How come it’s so heavy?! Mom didn’t put anything in it except the 2..

“I am here!!!”

She looked up and saw him standing there, trying to catch his breath.

“I am so so sorry. The bike got punctured at last minute. And my phone battery died. Because of which, I was not able to call Avinash also. He went far ahead me”

“Please! You are already late.”

The officer reminded him, but with a tight smile on his face. Both of them gave him a sheepish smile and then turned towards each other. At last! The moment has finally come. Her sister handed them the 2 garlands from the bag. While they were exchanging it,

He whispered, “So sorry dear. Love you sweetheart”.

She looked at him with a frown and asked, “You forgot that we are getting married today.. right?!”

He looked at her and both of them started laughing.

She whispered back, “Love you too bhulakad”

And they both lived happily ever after.

1.I learned Martial arts once upon a time. Finished till blue belt.

2.I like painting. I used to go to painting classes when I was in class 2nd. I still admire my teacher Mrs. Adhikari. She was simply awesome!

3. My school time report card would be one super comedy always. I used to get the highest marks in eng :) and lowest marks in maths :(

4.I topped my school in french in 12th board exams :)

5.The only classes I used to bunk in school were dance classes!! :P

6.I have never bunked clg even once in these 3 years.

7.I often like to stay alone but whenever I do so, my mom would stand next to me and ask if I fought with anyone.

21. I love beaches! I want to go there one day, early in the morning, simply sit there and watch the tides and rising sun! But it never happened till now and I don't see it happening either in near future :(

22. I love driving at very high speed. Esp when I am driving my bike alone and when there is no pillion rider.

24. I believe that my mom is one of the most strongest person on earth and my dad is one of the most hardworking person on earth. She can handle any kind of situations with her grit and he can work out any impossible things with his hard work.

Sachin didn’t go for dinner. When it became quite late, his aunt came to his room enquiring about him. He refused to dine and told her that he is not able to sleep. She gave him sleeping tablets and closed the door.

She came out smiling! Her husband saw her smiling and gave her one inquiring look. She motioned him to come to their room. They went inside and closed the door.

“Well what happened?”

“Plan is working out. I told you. He actually believes it. I just now gave him those so called sleeping tablets.”

“ahhha.. Good job my dear!”

“You were worrying unnecessarily. Let the so called sleeping tablets start working. In few days he will end up in mental asylum and you can ask the lawyer to make all the properties to your name since Sachin will cease to be a suitable owner to all the properties!”

He rubbed his hands in glee and enquired her

“But how did this idea come to your mind?”

“I overheard him grumbling to Sameer that his friend Swapna got transferred and she didn’t even call him after shifting to new place. Stupid! He forgot the fact that he changed his cell no recently and that girl don’t have his no. So that gave me this idea. Also I know how sensitive he has become after his parents death. So I asked you to add the story. I was sure that it will work out “

“Today he was telling something about one of his seniors also to Sameer”

“OH that guy! He got arrested in an eve teasing case. And that guy is a relative of the area MLA. Obviously, the warden cannot talk anything about him.

Good! He got arrested at the right time!”

Wait and Watch! Part-2

They reached college and checked in their classes. Sachin was still thinking about Swapna. Just then he remembered that he has to collect books from his senior. He checked for Sourabh in his class. He was nowhere to be seen.

Strange! That guy is missing for past one week.

Suddenly he heard someone mention Sourabh’s name. He turned around.

“Arey where is Sourabh yaar? That guy is having my I pod”

“Dunno man! He is not seen in his hostel room too. Even the warden is not disclosing anything about him”

“That’s strange!”

What?! What is happening around me?!

The whole day Sachin was distracted. The moment he reached home locked himself in his room. His uncle noticed this and went to his room. He asked Sachin what was troubling him. He told whatever his aunt told him that day morning.

“Hmmm... so she told you also huh?!”

“Well ya... So it is true?! You already knew about this?”

“Yes.. er Actually.. nothing.. Leave it Sachin”

“What uncle.. please tell me what is it?”

“I don’t know beta... Maybe it is true”

“WHAT?”

“I encountered similar situation when we were in Delhi. A family friend vanished without any trace! In fact your parents knew about it. After that incident only Bhaiya and Bhabhi left us alone in this world. The accident happened immediately after that incident. Though I don’t think it’s connected in anyway. We didn’t want you to get affected since that house had painful memories. We shifted here to Shimla. “

“But uncle”

“No Sachin... Don’t keep thinking about this now... Now get back to your studies... And come down for dinner”

“Hmm… ok uncle”

Sachin was not able to understand anything. Swapna, Sourabh and now his parents! He was going mad.

Is this true?! What happened to my parents?! Was it really an accident?

Wait and Watch! Part-1

“How is it even possible?! Don’t joke aunty. Talk practically. How will I even believe this?! No one will believe it. Go to any guy on the road and tell him that you meet spirits in your everyday life but you won’t know that they are spirits as they come in as solid human beings! They will laugh on your face.”

She smiled mysteriously.

“What?! Why are you smiling? Ok tell me who the ghost known to me is?!

“Don’t ask me. Ask yourself. You must know someone who vanished all of a sudden without any trace. They are not ghosts. They are spirits who just had some unaccomplished mission in their previous life may be with you or that to be done through you in this birth! ”

“Ya right! Whatever!”

How did she know!?

“DUDE!!!! C’mon we gonna be late for the exam!!”

His cousin Sameer called him from downstairs. Sachin grabbed his bike keys and went down. Both of them started off to college. Sameer was rambling something. But Sachin was not listening to him.

Is it true? No! Ghosts don’t exist. Or spirits.. Whatever! But Swapna did vanish without any trace.. If they got transfers, she would have called me. No way... What am I thinking? She can’t be a spirit and all!!

Screeeeech!

“Hey! What’s happening?? Man …. The bus! Were you dreaming? Damn it!

Sachin was stumped! He didn’t notice the bus at all. He was shocked to see that he halted the bike only few feet before the bus. The driver was yelling at both of them.

“Let’s get out of here before they get down and hit us. Let me drive!”

Doomed, if caught!

I kept running and running. But, slowly and silently. It shouldn’t hear us! Otherwise we are doomed. The little girl stopped. I looked back and urged her to run. She refused. I know that she is tired. We have been running for past 20 mins. Looking for a place to hide. Looking for a place to save our lives. I looked back. It was coming. I can sense it. It’s looking for us. Eager to catch us.

I looked around. Finally I saw one building.

“C’mon girl. Run!”

“ I cant”

I just scooped her in my arms and dashed towards that building. Sensing my footsteps, it also followed. Panic gripped me.

We entered that building and I started searching for rooms with doors on it. But alas! It has already destroyed all the locks on it. How clever it has become. We stumbled upon something. It was the guy who helped us yesterday. Till yesterday he was alive. But today, no more than a lifeless disfigured body. I got used to it but I turned the face of the little one away. Again I heard it coming. We broke into a run again. Finally, we entered into one room. But there was no lock for this one also. I didn’t bother closing the door. It’s just too clever. I simply switched off the lights and pushed myself and her under the bed.

It also entered the building. It looked for us.

Kept looking into each room.

Finally it came in front of our room.

And it stopped!

It entered our room.

I waited for it to leave. We held our breaths. But I could listen to my heart hammering away so loudly that I feared that IT will hear it.

It started it way out of our room. I could sense it hunger! His hunger for us! Its evil look! Finally it left.

She heaved a sigh of relief. NO! I mouthed. It heard us. It came back. I closed her mouth. I could see the fear in her eyes. She was able to see the same emotion in mine!

It came near the bed. We could see its legs. It stopped right beside the bed. I could sense that it’s looking around for the source of sound! FOR US! Then it bends down to see what’s under the bed! Slowly I saw it bending down and down and down and

“WAKE UP! YOU ARE LATE FOR COLLEGE”

I woke up to see my mom bending down to wake me up. I got up and rubbed my eyes and looked around.

Darn! It was a dream!

PS : "IT" is actually a dinosaur! but I wanted to leave it to your imagination! Nothing much of writing out here. Just felt like penning it down and so I did. Hope you enjoyed it :) Do tell me how is it written !!

“Order Order! Silence please!”

The court felt silent after hearing the judge’s order. The big guy smirked at the uproar caused in the court. He didn’t mind the curses that poor Ramu’s family spat out at him. He was simply smiling away to his glory. Smiling away to the fact that in sometime, Ramu’s land would be his! Only his! His evil grin clearly showed that the registration paper of the land, that he submitted was not authentic.

But who cares!

As long as the case is in his favour.

“Based on all the proofs, I hereby declare that the land does not belong to Ramu and he has been trying to deceive the law by submitting false registration papers”

The smirk on the big guy’s face broke into one wide smile. Now he can build the big bungalow that his wife wished for on that land. All he cared was to fulfill his wife wishes. Her wish to build a bungalow on that very land. Just because their family astrologer told them that they will rise to a very superior position in their lives if they do so.

He didn’t care for the tears of Ramu’s wife.

He didn’t care for the pleas of Ramu’s aged mother.

He didn’t care for the fact that they don’t have another place to live.

He went home and told this good news to his wife. He asked her to choose a colour for the bungalow. She told him that she wants to paint it in peach. He called the famous engineers and interior decorators of town to build his bungalow.

“I want the bungalow to be the grandest one in the whole town. Even bigger than the Gupta’s house. Understood?”

“Yes sir, don’t worry. It will be the one!”

The work started. After three months the work got over. He took his wife to the place after finishing was done.

“How is it my dear?”

“Oh, it’s beautiful. We should call our pandit ji to fix up a date for pooja”

“Don’t worry my dear. I will do it right away. You don’t worry about anything at all.”

The astrologer told them that fifteenth of the same month was a very auspicious date. So he started preparing for the pooja.

The big guy’s wife made arrangements for a party as well in that house on that date. She wanted the whole town to know their joy. From the false papers to the party arrangements cost him a big fortune. But he did not worry about it. After all, it was for her.

It was the fourteenth night and after checking out all the arrangements, they finally went to sleep.

The next day morning they woke up with a start. The house was shaking very badly. The ground was rumbling. It was like as if they entered into the hell. He shouted for his servants but no one came. Everyone was panic to move from their places. The big guy’s wife clung to him in fear. They thought that they are going to die. After few minutes, things became normal.

“What was that?”

“Pata nahin sahib”

Everyone chorused in fear.

He looked around. He felt relieved. He was not hurt, neither was his wife. Who cared about the servants!

He was not able to understand anything. He switched on the news. All the news channels were talking about the earthquake and their town which was the epicenter. He was changing the channels. Suddenly he stuck to one channel. His eyes widened. His hand trembled at the very sight shown on that news channel. He broke into a sweat. He was not able to believe the sight behind the reporter on the screen.

One day @ Island grounds!

After reading the title, no need to assume anything that I was off to any islands or something! (Though I would like to some day :D) Having nothing else to do on a Sunday, myself, along withother family members went to the Chennai trade fair at Island grounds! When I entered it, I should agree that I was very irritated with the crowd which had planned to hurt me to the max by stepping on my foot!! The crowd was some 5 times bigger than the one which you see at Pondy Bazar.

But as time went by, I started enjoying with all my lil cousins who tagged along to visit stalls. I should say my lil cousins enjoyed to the max, which you can see from the below pic!

Even I wanted to sneak in but there was a guy standing there, who resembled like one in this pic. So I thought its better for me to stand outside and just "Sigh"!

Even my unfortunate cousins (who were not able to sneak in) had fun! My cousins were targeting my uncle and were trying to irritate him.

My poor uncle was very patient for sometime but ultimately, out of frustration, he replied back in his own way :D

Looking at them play with the soap bubbles, I got reminded of the conversation that myself and my friend had before leaving for the fair. He told me that he used to go with his mom to the fair when he was in 5th or 6th std! [Now he is working!] He also recommended me to try the big appalams, Mollaga Baji and all the rides! Before keeping the phone down, he asked me to get something for him. I was feeling very lazy and tired to check out all the stalls, so I saved myself from the trouble of checking out everything and got him also one soap bubbles container :P I hope he likes it :D [C'mon ok, he didnt tell me what he wanted and secondly there was nothing much for him out there, unless he likes carrying leather handbags to office or wearing all strange kinds of hairbands! Which I definitely know that he dont :P] We also happily munched on the big big appalams!

Though we wanted to try out all the rides, but unfortunately we were not able to, since it was bloody crowded!!! All of us thought for a second whether we should enter the area somehow but then decided against it due to following reasons :

1. We dont have a family song! So that we can sing it to find our family members if they got lost!
2. We were not wearing the same kind of dresses! The bright red colour shirts and frocks with the big big yellow colour flowers painted on it.

So after contemplating over the above reasons, we decided to check out few stalls! My cousin got one amazing pic of displays at one shop!

The shopkeeper was very angry with her since she didn't take his photo along with his(er.. not exactly his own but his shop's) displays! He explained her that he wanted to show his perfect Colgate smile!

In between, in order to console my lil bro(since we didnt go anywhere near the rides), we entered the ghost house! My mom and aunt stayed back stating that they needed to sleep peacefully in the night. So myself, ,my sis, all my cousins, my uncle and aunt entered the house. With their heads high, the kids proudly walked into the darkness. But when we came out, my sis was choking my uncle by hugging his neck very tightly and my cousins were choking my aunt by tugging at both the ends of her dupatta! It was a fabulous sight to watch! I wanted to take a snap but by the time I could take out my mobile, they opened their eyes and shrugged as if nothing happened at all. Next morning my mom told me that my sis didnt sleep the whole night but that's another story! Myself and my five year old cousin enjoyed the ghost house to the core! In fact at one point, both of us startled one TALL guy going in front of us by making a sound all of a sudden. That poor guy didnt expect it all.

After we were completely drained out of energy, we headed to a restaurant where my family took such a long time to decide upon the orders that my lil bro started making rockets out of tissues! Actually he was very irritated because the waiter forgot his order which consisted of chocolate milkshake, vanilla ice cream and one "Bonda" :)

Let me end my post with a small trick which was displayed in the science and technology stall. Find out whats special or unusual about the pic! Its a very easy one but people rattled their brains to sort it out, dunno why! :D

She looked at her watch every 5 mins!

“Damn! Of all the days, why should today only Chandu get ill?!”

Chandu was her office cab driver. Since cab is not available, she has to catch an auto or bus. Her head was reeling with thoughts.

“What will the doctor say? Will shanthi will be able to manage it all alone?! Oh my god! Please let the reports be positive. Please let Anuj be fine”

She again checked the time. 5:45. The doctor was supposed to give the report at 6. She knew for a fact that Anuj’s parents were on the way to the hospital while Shanthi – Anuj’s wife was all alone. She took out her cell phone and called her friend’s number and informed her that she is on her way. She added with a pause that to inform what is there in the report if she fails to reach there on time.

“Don’t worry Shanthi. Anuj will be fine. Keep praying to the god”

She knew for a fact that her thoughts will not change the report. It’s all in the Dr.Kalpana’s hand. Dr. Kalpana is handling Anuj’s case. She hates that doctor to the core. That day when that doctor taunted Shanthi, she wanted to give her a tight slap right there at the spot. How Shanthi cried on that day!

Finally an auto came in to sight. But that heartless guy asked her 60 bucks!! She bargained for a moment and finally gave up. Not today, she thought. Today is an emergency! The auto moved at a snail’s pace.

“For god’s sake, please go faster”

Finally she reached! She gave him the exact change, which she had it ready before itself. She didn’t want to waste even a minute. She looked at her watch. It was almost time. She climbed the stairs. There was no time to waste for the lift to come. Her friend was waiting for her. Both of them went in the room together, grabbed the available chairs.

And switched on the TV and changed to their favorite serial - Shanthi.

This is my first blog post this new year :) So I am uploading my first (And I do hope this is not the last!) story written by me!

Everyday he waits at the college bus stop for her so that both of them can go to their respective home in the same bus. Everyday he attends the language class in the college without fail.

The only class where both of them sit in the same room.

The only class for which he goes to college itself.

So that he can enjoy seeing the dimples on her cute face.

But he never had the guts to talk to her. One day he got stuck with some work and totally forgot about the bus. When he finally remembered it, he ran at the top speed, breaking all the records of PT Usha. And to his surprise, he found her waiting for him in the bus stop. His friends told him that she missed her previous bus just for him. his joy knew no bounds. That night, he treated all his friends at the street corner biryani shop. Because of which his stomach got upset the next day and he had to bunk college for couple of days. When he was busy clutching his stomach in the loo, he got a anonymous get well soon card. His happiness doubled since he recognized the handwriting very well. It was hers!!!!! After all every time, in the examination hall, he used to sit behind her and admire her beautiful handwriting, instead of copying the answers.

That moment he decided that the time has come to tell her about his feelings. The next day, he waited for her at the bus stop. She came at her regular time and immediately she searched for him at the usual place where he sits all the time, Their eyes met and she smiled. Her smile gave him strength. He stood up and took a step towards her. But then! He immdiately stopped dead in his tracks. Why?! Because she was walking towards him!!! Suddenly he got nervous. He started sweating and smelling like a stinking pig which takes its bath at the muddy pool everyday. Slowly she came near him ad faced him. He waited for her to start since he was searching for words to speak. But she was hesitating to speak. Finally she spoke -

" Bhaiya, kya main aapko rakhi bandh sakthi hun? "

PS : For those souls who dont understand hindi, the last line meant - Brother, Can I tie you rakhi?! Inspired by a true incident in one of my dear friend's life ;)

Usually I wont be satisfied with my own creative work so easily. My biggest and honest critic is my mother! So I show her whatever I would have created and try to improve according to whatever she says. She is a very creative person. From my own view point and after listening to her remarks about this one, this work will come in my "Neither bad nor good so its OK!!" list. Please don't come to a conclusion that its a very old drawing because of the quality of the paper. The page is still white as chalk!! There was some problem with the scanner so the extra effect!! Some of my very good drawings are not with me anymore!! Maybe some day I will be able to capture all those drawings with my camera and maybe some day I might upload them here in my blog. Lets see! :)

It would start with loud music, showing my irritation to anyone who crosses my path and then it will gradually subside I will get to listen to one loud blasting from my mother in return! But dont dare to cross my path, when I am angry before my mom does. Otherwise bear the brunt!

Lets see.. Catapult, Hockey stick, Boomerang(which only hits someone and doesnt come back!), Cricket bat, the heavy Cosco ball! You see I was a very quiet, calm and chamathu(read innocent) kid!

Though I suffer a lot but still its Winter and Monsoon! Hot coffee, staying in your house the whole day and snuggling under your blanket!!

I have been tagged again by Karthik. I guess my last post only would have made him tag me on this topic :P What I need to do is that I need to write about 6 funny unusual habits while watching/going for movie”

This tag is gonna difficult for me since I am not a movie buff. I do watch movies but mostly its downloaded ones. Lets see.... Hmmmm.... What was the last movie that I saw in theatre?! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... I know thats a really big one. But its quite difficult to think of the last one also. OK don't hate me for this but the last one was "Yaar Di Nee Mohini". Its a tamil flick. I remember there was no other good movie worth watching in theatre and all so I went for this one along with my family. I still remember how my dad stuck to the song "Oh baby...oh baby" and how my mom used to slap on her head whenever he started to hum this song :D I dont know whether I am doing justice to the tag but just typing down whatever comes to my mind when it comes to movies!

1. You may find it funny but I am a person who starts feeling cold if the temperature drops even a little bit. So I usually take my jerkin along whenever I go for a movie. Even if its burning hot outside. If I am going with any of my friend or my mom, in some time they would be fighting with me for their dupatta. Since I would somehow snatch it from them to wrap myself with it :D I know its funny but anyway... Ok, stop laughing! By now, I am used to the stares that I get from people around me when they see me wearing a jerkin on a hot summer day!

2. Very rarely I feel like going for a movie. So whenever I feel like that, I would make big plans and all with my friends and family. Exchange of SMS, conference calls, presuading my mom to go for a movie cos of some stupid reason, fighting with my friends that I wont go for a particular movie just because I dont like ajit and it would be a Ajit's fick. But you know what the outcome will be! Absolutely nothing! The movie plan will vanish in the thin air and I will forget about it. So mostly whenever I go for movies, it wont be planned at all. It would be like " Hey, lets go for a movie" and the next minute, I will be sitting in the theatre.

3. This is a fun part. Usually this happens when I would have either seen the movie before itself or would have read something regarding it. Like The Harry Potter Series! Since I would read the book before watching the movie, I would irritate the person sitting next to me with the story line! I would tell them what the next scene would be, or would tell the dialogues or something like that. After one point, the person would be having a murderous look on her face! Which would be signal for me to shut up and save myself from the horrible consequences! :D

4. The comments part! After all we have all the rights to talk out whatever we feel. Whether its a comment on the nearby couple who would be coochi cooing instead of watching the movie or the guys in the back who would try to act smart !! Which actually is not what it to be!! And when you have a company who can think of all slapstick comments then its nothing like that! In sometime, it would be a scene of "War of words" in the theatre.

5. The translation part! This usually happens when I am accompanying friends who dont know hindi that well, to a hindi flick. I would have to play the role of translator. Now I am a person who is not so good in explaning. So by the time I search of words to explain the hindi punch dialogue, I would have missed the next few dialogues. And then I would be pestering my another friend to fill me up with what I have missed. By the time this happens for the umpteenth time, one could listen to the growling sounds made by the people sitting right around me. Achai ka tho zamana hi nahi raha!

6.Paper rockets! I used to do it but dont do it anymore! In that darkness you will never know on whose head your paper rocket has landed! unless and until you get to hear a yelling " evan da ava? Padutha paru da. @#$@*%^$ "(I cant type the rest! Censor board doesnt approve it you see!) The best part is no one suspects you since you would be having the innocent looks on your faces! I Still remember the paper rockets that myself and Anu used in the movie" Vetiyadu vilayadu".

Today when I came home from college, I was in a very low mood and the most irritating factor was that I didn't know why I was like that. Usually whenever I feel low, I will switch off all the lights in my room and listen to music. It helps me get out of the the low mood or depression. Today, decided to watch a movie alone, for a change. Which I usually don't do. I wanted to watch Wall E for a very long time and one of my good friends gave me the CD long back. So today I switched off the lights in my room, put on the head phones and watched the movie. Its such a cute and romantic movie. Though its a robot but still its cho adorable kinds! It was like one of the perfect movies in all sense. I know that the story line doesn't sound practical in any way. But you know what, ask your brain to not to think for some time and watch the movie. you will enjoy it to the core. Even the animation. It was so beautifully done. I mean just with the eyes (or whatever it is called in robots parts :P) the emotions were portrayed so beautifully. Anger, Happiness, Love, Despair, Fear - you can easily feel all the emotions simply by looking at the Wall - E's and Eve's eyes! The romantic angle between both the characters doesnt sound stupid when you sit through the whole movie till the end.

The way the Wall E shows all his foundings and treasures to Eve, the way it saves all new things in his cabin (or whatever it is), everything is nice. Even the cockroach, which is the only living being on the earth does not disgust you in any way. And in the way of malfunctioning robots, the spirit of friendship is shown. The movie is hilarious as well. Each and every scene has humour attached to it. I am in a very enthu enthu mood right now. Not completely enthu and all. But still at least not that much depressed.

I wanted to write a post on my Jaya Tv experince. Though its too old story but I still will write it some day :P. OK, ppl. I am logging out. Hope you guys have a relaxing sunday! At least I need one. But its not gonna happen. I know :(

In Chennai it was raining cats and dogs and in Mumbai it was raining bullets and blood!! I sat down to write a humorous post regarding my so called experiences of my bondings with Chennai rain. But in the midst, I was reading all online news about the Mumbai happenings and my mind got switched off, in a better way, lets say NUMB!! We ppl, get numb by simply watching the news and videos. Think about the plight of those ppl who lost their family members in these 4 days. 183 people lost their lives. I dont have any sympathy towards the 9 terrorists who got killed. So I never included them in the 183 lot. The no 183 include those people like the innocent foreigners who just came to India in search of peaceful holiday. Even after such a huge loss, our so called politicians dont want to think about the security and other issues. They still want to play the blame game!!!I bet they are not even bothered about the loss of lives or the loss of the image of India in front of the foreigners. What bloody role did they play in this whole issue other than blaming each other and making out meaningless statements in front of the cameras. We saw others work. The journalists played their role. One saw them crouching down out there, updating us with what all is happening out there, even losing their lives or braving the bullets in the midst of their duties. I dont say that all of them did good job but eventually they tried right! The commandos did their role. Now when I think about those politicians and commandos, I cant help thinking about Raj Thackery. Someone had sent a message to the news channels, where they show the sms in the tickers scrolling down that "where is raj thackery supposed to keep his face now since none of the commandos were marathis!!" Ultimately Raj Thackery didnt come forward to save Mumbai. People who came were either North Indians or South Indians!! The guys out there who lost their lives fighting for the safety of other people were not marathis, the guy who got the bullets in their chests were not marathis. Unwillingly or willingly they did fight for their nation and not only for Mumbai.

I can go on and on this post, since at this moment, I can vent out my frustration through this only. But I do have to stop at one point.

I dont have any belief in god but I sure would like to say that may the souls of people who lost their life rest in peace and I just wish that may people who lost their loved ones get the mental support to pass through this painful ordeal.

Moi Doodlings # 2

Basically using oil pastels (In simpler word. its crayons!) is not my cup of tea. I never liked colouring my drawings with it, so I never came to know how to create beautiful drawings from it. My 5 year old brother is better than me in that. In fact yesterday when both of us were colouring an apple, He made me feel puppy shame by finishing his drawing before me and it was good also!! He even commented that I did not know how to use the crayons since my red colour went out of the apple. After listening to this remark from him, I immediately vanished from the house telling that I had basketball practise at college since I have match the next day. Minutes after my vanishing act, my aunt realised that I am not in the college basketball team at all!! Anyway, to my convenience, today both of them forgot about it. Otherwise I would have had to escape telling the excuse of kabbadi practise (which I anyway don't know how to play :P) The above art of mine is my first and last attempt at my fight with crayons!! :P How is it?!
